Marvel has finally released the official trailer for the long awaited “Black Widow” movie that features Scarlett Johansson as agent Natasha Romanoff. Marvel announced at Comic-Con that there would be a Black Widow movie for 2020, and the official trailer release confirmed the film will drop in May of next year. The movie is rumored to fall in the Avengers timetable shortly after “Captain America: Civil War.”
Black Widow will not only feature Romanoff but two new characters as well, Yelena Belova and Melina Vostokoff played by Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz. Romanoff has often referred to the Avengers as her family through out the series, and it appears in Black Widow we will get a closer look of her roots and where she actually came from in Russia. In the trailer Natasha is heard saying “one thing is for sure, it’s going to be a hell of a reunion”. Hence the family ties.
